Alumina Ceramics in High-Power LED Lighting

-- The Challenge

A lighting manufacturer was designing a new generation of high-power LED modules for application in stadium and industrial lighting. These LEDs needed to be driven at very high currents to provide maximum brightness. The concern was twofold:
